What a shocking and lacklustre performance…a point is a point but it was clear that the boys had assumed before kick off that a match against thailand would be 3 easy points. No energy in midfield and the ball into the final 3rd just wasnt good enough. Kruse and Degenek were absolute trash. Pretty embarrassing to think two goals came via penalties…Big wake up call for the team!

Pretty sure I got cancer after watching this game. We have options in midfield when we are on the attack but our passing is sloppy and when Thai are on the counter, our midfield is bloody lazy and it blows my mind how many opportunities the backline are letting Thailand have. Spiranovic poor. Mooy careless. Smith did a good job, shame most of the other boys didn’t. Burns to start next international, drop Kruse and Leckie

How Robbie Kruse did not get subbed off after half time amazes me. Slow delayed passing, gave the ball away, outmuscled everytime, mis-timing his runs leading to offside, couldn’t cross at all.

Where is the justification for Kruse to play? He doesn’t play for his club and when he plays for the Socceroos he is garbage. Can’t cross, not fast enough post-injury to beat players or strong enough to match it physically against Thais. Rubbish.

Mooy couldn’t make a pass tonight. Shocking. Made Kruse look sloppier than he did, same as no one backing up when he was through. Although he seemed to be having fun playing offside all night. Rogic was quite good in spurts…. But the boys all looked tired and missing half a step. Sad performance. Great effort by Thailand on the other end of the park. They probably deserved the 3 points. We got lucky.
